Honor the Military Day 2013
We had a great day showing appreciation for our United States Military. Students came to school dressed as soldiers, in patriotic colors and even as Uncle Sam. We had a veteran and dad visit to tell about his service during the Persian Gulf War. During PE, the soldiers enjoyed Boot Camp with Mr. Mau. We look forward to camouflage and jeans day tomorrow. The Adventures of Sneaky E
We had a fun time in after school tutoring learning about "Sneaky E". In words that have a vowel, consonant, vowel where an "E" is at the end, the middle vowel becomes a long vowel when the "E" is added. However, you don't hear the "E" at the end, hence the "sneaky E" nickname.
